The ‘Oranjemolen’ (‘Orange Mill’) is a flour mill and former peel mill on the Oranjedijk (dike) in Vlissingen, in the Dutch province of Zeeland. Because of its location, this mill is a good wind and eye catcher. The Oranjemolen is the closest windmill to the sea in the Netherlands.
In 2000 the Oranjedijk had to be raised by two meters. In addition, the crooked mill was set straight and jacked up two meters up with the help of pole foundations. A major restoration took place in 2002. The first restauration was in 1971.
