During the years my home had a more industrial vibe, I remember often looking at a room divider made out of glass and metal. With wooden slats being really popular at the moment, I thought this ‘one size fits all’ room divider in oak could be interesting for some of you. It does not require a lot of knowledge of construction work. Each Room divider is easily made to measure and placed between floor and ceiling in your living or to add some privacy in an open bed-bathroom concept.

Wooden Room Divider

In many Eastern cultures, the use of folding screens as wooden room dividers has been very common for centuries. In Japan we find the rice paper screens. Screens from more organic material from Indonesia, more about this next week. And European designers also give their own twist to the Oriental screens. Have a look here at a previous post about a minimal room screen: Minimal room screens for your home

The wooden room dividers from this post can have a purely functional function, but they can also be used aesthetically. In addition to the light wooden screens, they are also available in black or white wood. Suitable for private homes or retail spaces. More info at Houten room divider
