MAY PAPER CRAFT CHALLENGE DAY 10: EASY FIRST INITIAL FRAMED ART

Did you know that even your scrap paper will make a pretty backdrop for art?

As long as you have a large enough piece to fit the frame (or you can do a collage-style backdrop), it’s just the right pop of colour you need to take this first initial print from drab to fab.
TOOLS & MATERIALS:
Ribba 5″ x 7″ frameScrapbook paperPaper trimmerMetallic washi tape (Dollarama)Large sticker letters (Target)
DIRECTIONS:

Use a paper trimmer to cut the backdrop down to fit snug into the frame. Apply washi tape across the top and bottom for a little extra pop (I couldn’t find a similar product online, but I picked mine up at Dollarama).

Either cut the ends, or simply fold the washi tape over.

Apply a large-size letter in your initial or for whomever it’s going to in the centre, then finish by framing it!

Total project time: about 5 minutes.
