Make Yarn Tails into Art Beads
Working on my floral banners I was left with a huge amount of scraps of  yarn ends and tails. So getting ready to throw them away I rolled a pinch of them with my hands and that is how I got this idea of turning them into beads. So, mark my word, I am NEVER throwing them away again!

If you are inclined to try this, this is how I made them.
If you have a multicolored bunch, mix it well. Take a pinch, squish it with your hands well and then start rolling it until all tails are slightly blended. They won’t be completely blended, that is why, you take a sewing thread (I used silk ones for this so as to add shine to the bead) and wrap it all around the bead to hold it in place. Then thread a needle and sew beads onto it. This further enhances the sturdiness and shape of the bead. Sew them in all directions. I had these adorable wooden buttons that I sewed in the center and my beads were done!
Note that some of the yarn will still peek, but I think it adds up to their cuteness.

And as you can see, I already used them to make a necklace.
Needless to say there is a jar full with yarn butts waiting to become beads 🙂
