The legendary late rapper’s Brooklyn condo, which he once called his “one-room shack,” is available to rent starting July 1, 2019.
The Clinton Hill home where Christopher Wallace (a.k.a. the Notorious B.I.G) grew up in with his mother is now available to rent for $4,000 a month. Note, the 1920 prewar unit is no longer the same “one-room shack” with “no heat” that the late rapper once described in his hits.
Located on the third floor of 226 St. James Place in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood, the historic apartment was recently treated to a top-down renovation, and now features three bedrooms, one bath, as well as an additional office/den space.
“It’s a beautiful home and a fantastic neighborhood, filled with little shops and great transportation,” says Compass broker Fabienne Lecole. “The apartment is a historical gem.”
