Comme toute blogueuse lambda, je suis invitée régulièrement à découvrir les nouveautés des marques, plusieurs fois par jour. J’avoue que je réponds rarement à ces invitations, deux ou trois fois maximum par an, et seulement si les marques qui me sollicitent correspondent à mon éthique, mes goûts, et ont une démarche écologique. C’est pourquoi lorsque , le premier fabricant mondial de parois de douche(mais pas seulement) m’a sollicitée pour l’inauguration de son nouveau (et premier) showroom à Mantoue en Italie, j’ai répondu oui avec enthousiasme.

Je me suis donc rendue jeudi et vendredi dernier dans cette magnifique petite ville bordée par trois lacs artificiels, où l’entreprise a installé ses 250.000 m² d’ateliers (non, il n’y a pas un zéro de trop, vous avez bien lu!) et fabrique des salles de bain 100% italiennes. Après un vol vers Bologne, et quelques heures où j’ai pu me balader avec ma photographe préférée, Anne-Sophie (qui en plus parle 4 langues couramment, et ça c’est bien pratique !), nous avons rejoint Mantoue pour découvrir cette formidable entreprise familiale (et croyez moi ce terme change tout !) née en 1960, qui a évoluée au cours des années dans le meilleur sens du terme, en prenant en compte l’écologie, le recyclage, et en mettant l’humain au coeur de sa stratégie.
Barbara et Marco Novellini, aux rênes de l’entreprise depuis 2016, lui ont donné un souffle nouveau avec la création de mobilier de salle de bain, aux belles finitions et au design pur. Nous nous sommes rendus au superbe showroom, et avons pu admirer les créations aux lignes raffinées, où rien n’est à ajouter ou à retirer, comme il se doit, qu’il s’agisse de douches, de baignoires, de robinetterie ou de mobilier.

La visite de l’usine était passionnante, deux heures pour découvrir le processus total de fabrication, de la barre d’aluminium brute à la paroi de douche finie, emballée et prête à rejoindre un point de vente dans un camion. Lorsque vous achetez une paroi de douche, vous ne pouvez imaginer combien d’opérations précises, combien de technicité interviennent dans sa fabrication, afin qu’elle soit parfaite, et sécurisée (et esthétique également!).
Chez Novellini, vous pouvez obtenir des produits standards, mais également du sur-mesure avec un surcoût raisonnable. Vous êtes « in love » avec votre chien ? Rien ne vous empêche de le faire sérigraphier sur une paroi unique!
Les matériaux utilisés sont 100% recyclables, l’eau utilisée pour le découpage des verres avec le sable circule en circuit interne et est réutilisée afin de préserver les ressources naturelles. La peinture des profilés est électromagnétique, et va à 99% sur l’objet à peindre, et toute la démarche de l’entreprise est ainsi axée sur l’écologie depuis bien longtemps, et avant même les exigences européennes.
Si on ajoute que les produits sont beaux et d’un rapport qualité/prix excellent, que demander de plus. Il est certain que ma prochaine salle de bain sera équipée à 100% par cette entreprise. Forza Novellini et Forza Italia ! Photo : Anne-Sophie Leost et Novellini

Italian design renews the bathroom with Novellini
Like any normal blogger, I am regularly invited to discover the latest products from the brands several times a day. I admit that I rarely accept these invitations, two or three times maximum a year, and only if the brands that request me correspond to my ethics, my tastes, and have an ecological approach. That is why when Novellini, the world’s leading manufacturer of shower walls (but not only) asked me to be there for the opening of its new (and first) showroom in Mantua, Italy, I immediately answered yes with enthusiasm
I then went last Thursday and Friday to this beautiful little town surrounded by three artificial lakes where the company has set up its 250,000 m2 of workshops (no, there is not one zero more than necessary you read it right!) and manufactures 100% Italian bathrooms. After a flight to Bologna and a few hours where I was able to walk around with my favorite photographer Anne-Sophie (who also speaks four languages, that is very useful!), we arrived in Mantua to discover this wonderful family-owned company (and believe me this word changes everything!) established in 1960, which has evolved over the years in the best possible way, taking into account ecology, recycling, and placing people at the heart of its developing strategy.
Barbara and Marco Novellini, who took control of the company in 2016, have given it a new life with the creation of bathroom furniture, with high quality finishes and pure design. We visited the superb showroom, and were able to admire the creations with their refined lines, where nothing is to be added nor removed, as it should be, whether it is showers, baths, fittings or furniture.

The visit to the factory was really exciting, two hours to discover the whole manufacturing process,from the raw aluminium bar to the finished shower screen, packed and in a truck, ready to be shipped to an outlet and to be sold. When you buy a shower enclosure, you cannot imagine how many precise operations, how much technical expertise go into its manufacture, so that it is perfect and safe (and aesthetic too!).
At Novellini, you can choose standard products, but also tailor-made products with a reasonable extra cost. You are « in love » with your dog? Nothing prevents you from having it screen printed ona unique shower wall!
The materials used are 100% recyclable, the water used to cut the glass with sand circulates internally and is reused to preserve natural resources. The painting of the profiles is electromagnetic and 99% goes to the object to be painted. The whole company’s approach has thus been focused on ecology for a long time, even before the European requirements.
