In this apartment, it’s the alternation between the dark and the light that interests. The choice was an charcoal gray for the living room walls, and white for those in the dining room. You should notice that the two spaces meet and complement each other: dark walls and light carpet in the first, light walls and dark carpet in the second, these choices produce a visual balance, and a reminder of the tones of the painting hanging next to the dining table.
