, an embroidery artist trained in the U.K. but based in Japan. After assisting London-based designers, she started a career as a freelance embroidery artist. Her inspiration comes from not only flowers and animals but also horror films, mystery novels, and alternative rock music. She would like to eventually use her traditional embroidery skills to create something modern and contemporary.
