was born in the United Kingdom but has spent most of her life in the United Arab Emirates. The Jordanian-British designer and visual artist studied at Leeds College of Art and Design graduating in 2002. She creates complex digital designs which are then cut in numerous layers out of various materials using laser machines. In an article on she says this about her work:
“It’s a combination of design, craft and code underpinned by an almost maniacal obsession with pattern. The patterns I work with are (quite wide ranging) everything from electronic music, to ancient Islamic design, to topographical maps.”
