La phrase classique est « je monte me coucher ». Sauf dans les souplex. Comme ici, dans ce deux pièces avec sa belle chambre en bas de l’escalier. Le soir venu on annonce donc « je descends me coucher », et non le contraire. ((Ou je vais dormir…)
I go down to bed
The classic phrase is « I go up to bed ». Except in a basement apartment. Like here, in this one-bedroom with its beautiful rbedoom down the stairs. In the evening you announce « I go down to bed », and not the opposite. ((Or I’m going to sleep …)
