Sebit Min has such a keen eye for simple but interesting details, nuances of color and seeing beauty in the ordinary that she can even make someone like me appreciate lilac (I generally have an aversion to all things purple!). It’s a good reminder for me to stop and pay more attention to the inspiring tidbits all around me — even if it’s the flecks of glitter in a goopy blob of slime. To see more of the art director (the New Yorker) and freelance book designer’s “soft modernist” style, check out her pastel-loving Instagram account and very inspiring online portfolio.

cheers, ezz.
