The Foundry in Long Island City, New York is filled with lush greenery — ivy spills over the brick walls, and industrial-inspired lights create a warm ambiance. When Diana and Carlos saw it, they knew it was the perfect place to have their wedding, as they wanted to create the feeling of having a big dinner party in an overgrown garden.
The style was modern with vintage touches, and romantic but with a whimsical feeling. They rented vintage furniture to give the space an old-school vibe and look that’s timeless. Some of vintage props were brought from home, such as a gramophone, crystal decanters and vintage mirror. The venue was filled with draping greens and floral giving it an organic look. The stylists used pink and deep purple ranunculus, Juliet roses, trailing jasmines, astilbes and proteas just to name a few.
