You guys know we love upcycling thrifted clothes to fit our style, but something that I’ve never tried is sewing a clothing item completely from scratch. So I thought if not now then when, and attempted to diy a flowy kimono from scratch using a paper pattern I made myself! I must say, I am pretty proud of how this piece turned out and can’t wait to wear it at my first post-quarantine event (whenever that may be). What should I try to sew from scratch next? Let me know in the comments below 🙂
