All of us dream of having a magnificent decoration plan for our living rooms. Several permutations and combinations go on before you finally arrive at a concrete arrangement plan. Giving a cordial and warm ambiance to your living room is the most important consideration while setting up the area.
This is not an easy task though. It can be made more complex if your living room has two entrances as it constraints the wall area for placing your furniture.
But there is nothing to worry! These tips will help you to better arrange a living room with two entrances.

Create a centerpiece
You must put efforts into identifying a centerpiece or focal point of your living room. The heart and soul of your living room is called the focal point. It could be anything ranging from a grand piano, antique mirror, entertainment system or artwork. You should place the focal point in the middle or against the walls. Arrange other accessories in tune with the focal point. This will ensure that the focal point is highlighted while entering the room and visitors are left overwhelmed.
Make use of the walls
One of the most common set up for living rooms is to push everything against the walls. This renders the imagination futile and the ambience of the living room insignificant. You can set up the couch or chairs in the middle of the room to create communication areas. This will make your living room engaging. Place a magnificent table in between the two chairs to make it more appealing.

Do not obstruct the entrances
Always ensure that you do not place furniture close to your entrances. Keeping the entrances free will give a rich and expansive feel to every visitor. You can install a mirror or piece of artwork on the wall bang opposite the entrance or the adjoining walls.

Use symmetry wherever possible
Symmetrical layouts have always been considered an imperial concept for living room layouts. Sofas should be kept facing each other. Place a coffee table in the middle to make the set up complete. You can also place coffee tables diagonally. Symmetry gives a complete and organised look to your living area. You will have to develop a symmetry depending upon the entrances.

Lighting
After finalizing the placement set up you can work around with the lights. If both the entrances are on the same wall, you can think of illuminating the opposite walls with wall lamps or neon lights. On the other hand, if the entrances are on the opposite you can work on giving a bright look to the central space of your living room. If you are thinking of installing a grand chandelier make sure that it is visible from the entrances of the room. This can be enforced by adjusting the height of the chandelier.
Use sliding doors
Using sliding doors gives you more options to customize the furniture plan of your living room. You do not have to leave large amounts of area for clearance. These spaces can be used to install flower vases or decorative antiques. It gives a rich and open feel to your living room.
