Homes to Inspire | Mostly Monochrome

Starting off on a personal note today, I want to let you know why I’ve missed a post here and there these last few weeks. I have a slipped disc in my lower spine, the result of a very old injury from my ballet days and it has been excruciatingly painful. Treatment is going well but it will take a while to heal. As anyone who has had chronic back pain will know, the effects are all-consuming, not only physically but mentally. It’s frustrating not being able to put in the hours of research that go into keeping the blog running, but thank goodness for Swedish real estate sites which keep listing beautifully styled homes. A breath of fresh air, this apartment’s white walls and floors provide the perfect backdrop for layering beautiful furniture, cosy rugs underfoot and and black and white prints. Wood accents bring warmth to the mostly monochrome interior, while the soft colour and texture of the wall in the bedroom provides a surprise element and pretty contrast.
