Beth Hoyes, aka Rabbit Hat Designs, stitches oversized embroideries that magnify bird and butterfly wings. Using hoops that can be as large as 23 inches in diameter, her art showcases the vibrant colors and tiny patterns that we often miss as these creatures fly and flutter by.

“[The] giant macro nature series [is] part of my wider art practice exploring and amplifying the tiniest of details from nature into huge hoops,” she explains, “creating immersive nature experiences, focusing on the beauty of nature, our part in it and how important it is for us to connect to and protect nature.”

Beth sells her work, as original hoop art and DIY kits, in her Etsy shop. Follow her on Instagram to see what she’s up to next.
