ON ME // patterns:
I will be the first in line to say that I am a huuuuge fan of mixing – whether that be with color, print, textures, and now, we can add sewing patterns to my resume! No, this is certainly not the first time I have have mixed patterns but I haven’t done it in a while and wanted to remind you (and moi) that it’s always a fun option! I was able to mix two reliable patterns that I love to use and are familiar with the fit and make something new! This week, I choose to work with
The inspiration came from a sketch I drew last week,
I think it took more time to take and edit these photos than it did to make the dress. From cut to hem, it took less than 3 hours. I stop at lot when I sew, I like to admire the fabric and try it on a few times. Anyone else do that? I do it a LOT.
