Free Spirited Wedding Inspiration With Indian Boho Vibes
Today we are sharing an incredibly exotic shoot from Open The Door Events and shot by Serafin Castillo. This inspiration shoot held in Casa de Laila, Malaga, is full of gorgeous, rustic boho elements, jewel tones and exotic Indian styling. This is a free-spirited shoot set in an oasis with a touch of Indian boho vibes.
The wedding venue was Casa de Laila, it’s a beautiful and wild eco retreat. The venue usually has yurts onsite but they were in the middle of reconstruction and felt they weren’t ready for a session but the stylists spotted the bamboo and clay dome, and they created a lot of magic there.
The stylists wanted a mix of Indian, gypsy and free spirited vibes whilst being natural, local and eco-friendly. The photographer was learning macrame wall hangings so the macrame pieces were created by her. All the flowers they used were claveles grown locally in Andalusia very similar to marigold garlands typically used in India for weddings. The adorned carcassas were found on a ranch in Mexico and decorated by mama boheme.
The unique wedding dress was handmade with love in Barcelona. It was a sleeveless V-neckline wedding dress with a sheer back on a row of buttons and a lace skirt, the part of which is sheer – very boho-like! The crown was handmade by a local designer from Malaga. The groom was wearing a simple white shirt and grey pants.
The shoot turned out to be 100% sustainable, eco-friendly and wild, thanks to the genius of the team and various suppliers!
