A few weeks ago I went a little crazy on Etsy and got some cute stuff to make earrings. I took a few of those today to make these Easy DIY Gold Hammered Statement Earrings! So simple and so quick – it will only take you 5 minutes if not sooner to make your own. I promise you. Wanna try? Read on for the tutorial!
What You Need – Easy DIY Gold Hammered Statement Earrings
- Gold colored hammered earring post – get a pair that has a hole or loop at the bottom of each post to connect with your jump ring
- Gold colored hammered pendant (I got from the same Etsy store above, but seems to be temporarily sold out – don’t let that discourage you, look around and you will find some pretty pieces)
- (I used 2 for opening and closing the jump rings)

Instructions – Easy Gold Hammered Statement Earrings
- Open your jump rings with pliers – I used 2 sets of pliers (one in each hand) to twist each jump ring so that the ends opened forward and backward
- With the jump ring ends open, put the earring post on one end then put the pendant on the other end
- Close the jump ring with pliers
- Repeat for the other earring
- Add the earring backs to each earring
And that’s it! All you have to do is slip on those earrings with a pretty summer dress! Tell me in the comments below, how did your earrings turn out?
