DIY Trinket Clay Bowl

We like to experiment with different craft materials for our DIY projects — and that includes clay! Meagan has tried a lot of air-dry clays, and the one she used to make these clay bowls is the best one she has found. Not only is it durable, but it dries hard, and you can sand out imperfections once it is dry.

Tools:
Rolling Pin
Spray Bottle
Sandpaper
Wax Paper
Paintbrush

Materials:
DAS Air-Hardening Modeling Clay — White
Acrylic Paint
Various sized bowls

Crafting Tips:
Before adding your clay and water mixture to the bowl, you can put plastic wrap inside the bowl for easy cleanup and removal. After adding your clay to the bowl, you can use your fingers or a slightly damp soft sponge to smooth the surface of the clay while wet. Once your clay bowl is completely dry, paint it to add some color!
