Kicking off the new year with the last project I made for my brother’s room for the ! This console table is something he desperately needed for this space… did you see the of this space around the TV? I’d say it’s a major upgrade! 
I saw and wanted to make a cheaper version (I think this one cost me about $50) that included some of the natural wood I had used in other parts of the room. I didn’t have all the tools I really needed to make it “properly” but I made it work and love how it turned out! It’s perfect for this space but it would work in a living room or entryway too!
What you need:
- 2 – 8′ 1″x12″s
- 1 3/4″ square dowel
- furring strips or any 1″x2″
- miter saw
- drill
- screws
- paint
- wood glue
- nail gun
