No surprise here, but I love and . I saw this stunning collection of on Kelly Go Lightly and was instantly inspired to make this DIY Monstera Leaf Tank Top. I used the monstera leaf images from but there are so many other images you can download and use. If you feel like DIYing instead of , read on to make your own!
Materials: DIY Monstera Leaf Tank Top
- (there is a free version!) or any graphic software
- Tropical leaf or monstera .png images – I got from Creative Market
- Scrap fabric
- Iron
- Ironing board

How To Make: DIY Monstera Leaf Tank Top
- Pre-wash your tank tops
- Open your .png images of the leaf you want on your tank top and resize and replicate so that they can fit on the tank top
- Load your image transfer sheet into your printer (check the instructions for which side to face down)
- Send your leaf images to print on the transfer sheet
- Cut around the edges of your images
For each leaf:
- Place the image face down on the tank top and cover the transfer sheet with scrap frabric
- With an iron on cotton settings (no steam), press down on the image for 30-40 seconds
- Allow the sheet to cool before peeling off the backing
- Repeat the image transfer process in a pattern on your tank top
And that’s it! Now you have a cute tee for the summer. Pair it with a cute skirt and you’re set! I can’t wait to hear how your tropical tees turned out!
