Hello there! Happy Tuesday to you! Here is a fun and easy and comfy crochet scarf that I created (for free) for the Fall. This crochet scarf can easily double as a shrug as well, keeping you quite warm and toasty as the temperature swiftly drops. Crochet scarves are such a great gift to others and I can’t wait to create more for loved ones as well!

Scrap Yarn used>>Red Heart Super Saver
R2-R35: DC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, at the end of EACH Row, turn work to continue.
R36: HDC into all of the STS for the entire Row, at the end of the Row, SS to complete work.
Now to detail the edges of the scarf, insert hook unto the border of the scarf. You will be working in rounds, SS at the end of each round to continue work.
RND1: HDC into the first ST, CH 1, HDC into the same ST (repeat this method for the edges only)
CH 1, Skip 1 ST, **HDC into the following ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the next ST…[*Repeat method until the end of the Row, SS to continue onto the next Round.]
RND2: HDC into the first ST, CH 1, HDC into the same ST (repeat this method for the edges only) YO, insert hook unto the open space created from Round 1, YO, Pull hook through, SS and CH 1,
**YO, insert hook unto the open space created from Round 1, YO, Pull hook through, SS and CH 1…[*Repeat method until the end of the Row, SS to continue work.]
