Hello there! I’ve been wanting to create a headband like this forever and I am quite elated on how it came out! Inspired by this fox crochet sweater I created a few years back, I wanted something in the spirit of Halloween to share with you all!
You will be create two pieces of ears!
Using the cream yarn.
CH 10
R1:SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [9 STS]
R2: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [8 STS]
R3: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [7 STS]
R4: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [6 STS]
R5: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [5 STS]
R6: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [4 STS]
R7: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [3 STS]
R8: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into all of the STS, turn work when complete. [2 STS]
R9: Decrease by 1 ST for the round, SC the entire row into the ST, SS to complete work. [1 ST]
Using your yarn sewing needle/tapestry needle and a strand of yarn, sew the crocheted ears to the top of the headband, approximately 5 STS apart from each other.
