I remember Pascua Sundays with my parents and sisters. My parents would buy us an Eater dress to wear, and made us a basket. We would always go to mass, then come home to prepare our Carne Asada cookout, macaroni salad, guacamole, and chips. Then we would hide Easter eggs filled with candy and surprise one dollars on some. After hunting for eggs, my big sisters would bring out “cascarones” eggshells to run around and crack the eggs on top of each other’s head.
Sometimes, my parents would even rent an air jumping trampolines so all the kids can jump and have fun.
Now, having a family of my own. I make them Easter baskets each year, we make cascarones, we decorate eggs, and we head out to the park for an Easter day egg hunt. I love decorating eggs, and this year I made several designs. When I went shopping at Kohl’s I found this amazing egg holder from Food Network and knew this would be a great way to display our Easter eggs. Once I added all the eggs, It just turned out to be the perfect Easter centerpiece for or dinner table.
To make your own Easter Egg Display Centerpiece you will need the following:
Kohl’s Food Network 24 Egg Tray.
Our Easter Eggs tutorials, Eggshells filled with confetti, faux eggs painted in black, brown eggshells vases with fresh or faux flowers.
To make some of the eggs stand upright, add a removable mounting square on the bottom of the egg.
To complete the look we bought some striped napkins and white Food Network place setting from Kohl’s. Kohl’s is one of our favorite destinations for home décor, shoes and clothing for the family. My mom would go shopping for our Easter dresses at Kohl’s. All the coupons and Kohl’s cash is a favorite of mine.
