DIY Donut Wall @themerrythoughtI’ve been to a few events over the last year with huge donut walls and obviously I fell in love with them. I mean, an entire wall full of donuts?! Yes, please! Sadly, having an 8 foot tall donut wall hanging around for parties isn’t exactly practical – so I decided to scale it back a bit and create a mini plywood donut wall. Since we’re in the thick of brunch/shower season, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this. You can make and reuse for brunches and showers and any gathering in between! DIY Donut Wall @themerrythoughtWhat you need:
-12″ x 24″ Birch Plywood
Drill
1/2″ Forstner Bit
-12 pieces of 2″ long 1/2″ round dowel
-Ruler
-Pencil
-Wood Glue
Letter Stickers or Cricut

How to make it:
-Measure out 5 even sections along the long side – about 4.8″ each
-Measure to the center of each of the bottom 4 sections (the top will be for the donuts sticker) – then measure and mark across the center of each sections at 2.25″, 6″, and 9.75″.
-Drill a hole most of the way through the board using the forester bit at each of the 12 marks you made.
-Attach your sticker to the top section – be sure to center it within the 4.8″ top section.
-Secure dowels into the holes using a dab of wood glue and let dry.
-Buy a dozen donuts hang them up and enjoy the view for a minute before devouring them!
