We explore how Nordic style surfaces in the kitchen with Swedish-based designer Nordiska Kök.

According to Nordiska Kök creative director and founder Johan Lundkvist, Nordic style is simplicity at its best – clean and minimalistic. “We create timeless kitchens inspired by nature; the beautiful archipelagos, the open fields and the mountains to the north,” Johan says. “For us, sustainability is number one.”
In partnership with Cosentino, we’re exploring the essential ingredients to four Nordic style kitchen projects by Nordiska Kök. While each kitchen may vary aesthetically, all share the fundamental Nordic design values of craftsmanship, timelessness, a soft and neutral palette and a mindful connection with the natural environment.
