King Living

Also designed by Tom Fereday, was the King Living stand at Denfair itself- the largest display King has presented to date. Providing a sanctuary for calm through the use of raised platforms, the stand created a feeling of immersiveness and independence from the rest of the fair. Each of the four themes represented invited guests into an intimate homely, space. “My favourite feature of the stand is that it can be viewed from the outside through a series of vignettes, or from inside by walking through and directly interacting with the products,” says Fereday.

Made up from over twenty made-to-order designs, each rug is constructed using complex visual compositions which highlight the quality and skill of traditional weaving techniques and the depth of history instilled into each piece. The collection is richly evocative of central Africa and crafted by hand using lustrous wool, we also loved the colour palette of earthy and indigo tones which reflect the collection’s African design narrative.
