Having whet our appetites at last year’s edition, this year we are pleased as punch to be an official DENFAIR Media Partner. As Australia’s largest contemporary design and art trade event it’s a place to get to know who is making waves both locally and internationally and discover the next household names of design. Held over three days with the third day open to the public, DENFAIR 2017 promises to again bring together architects, interior designers, stylists and retailers in the one space to exhibit, present and connect with each other.

DENFAIR co-founder Thibaud Cau-Cecile impressed on us the attention to detail he and the team have curated within the event: “Every aspect of the show experience is highly considered and design-driven—from the selection of exhibitors, cafes and restaurants to the installations and creative activations.”

If you’re keen to join in on the action and haven’t got your tickets sorted yet you can register for Days 1-2 (professionals) here, or Day 3 (public day) here.

We’ll also be hosting some reader tours on the June 10th public day to share our est edit of the designers, objects and makers. Hosted by our Editor in Chief Sian MacPherson, it’s a chance to learn more about the stories behind the brands and discover the best DENFAIR has to offer – and trust us, there’s a lot! Tours will be on the hour from 10am – 3pm and places are strictly limited. You can sign up to the tours here. But that’s not all! If you’re one of the first 50 to sign up for our tours we’ll send you code to claim a free public day ticket to Denfair. So be quick – did we mention spaces are limited?

Sign up for our tours here.

Keep an eye out for more DENFAIR content in the coming weeks. As we lead up to the event next month we’ll be profiling some fresh design discoveries and hearing more from these makers about their business and design process. Otherwise, see you at the event!

As any regular reader will know we at est are no fans of replica pieces – and we’re pleased to find Denfair share our opinion. DENFAIR Co-founder Claudio Oyarce shared: “At DENFAIR we do not support replica. In Australia there is a lack of protection for designers, so we need to stand firm and only promote and showcase originals.”
