Crochet Cable Warmers - free pattern

I thought it would be interesting to hit off the new year with a free pattern, so if you like wearing warmers, this might be the project for you.

Supplies:
*50gr of DK yarn of your choice (I used Papatya Batik) and a 5mm hook;
* tapestry needle

Stitches: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), skip (sk), double crochet (dc), front post double crochet (FPdc), back post double crochet (BPdc), {crossed} front post treble (FPtr), {crossed} back post treble (BPtr)

Measurements of finished warmers: 10cm in width and 13.5 cm in length

Pattern:
Foundation and row 1: Ch26 and starting from 4th ch from hook, dc1 in all (24). Ch3 and turn work. We count this as the 1st dc. There are a total of 24 sts in every row.
Row 2: starting from 2nd st from hook, dc1 in all (24). Ch3 and turn work.
Row 3: starting from the 2nd st, dc1 in next 10 st (with the first 3ch – it’s 11 sts), FPdc1 in next 4 sts., dc1 in rest 11 sts.  Ch3 and turn work.
Row 4: starting from the 2nd st, dc1 in next 10 sts (a total of 11), sk2, make a BPtr in the 3rd st, make another BPtr in the 4th, next go back a st and BPtr1 (in the 2nd st you skipped) and again BPtr1 in the 1st st you skipped. This will create a kind of flap, which is actually the shaping of the cable. Next, dc1 in next 11 sts. Ch3 and turn work.
Row 5: starting from the 2nd st, dc1 in next 10 sts., FPdc1 in next 4 sts., dc1 in rest 11 sts.  Ch3 and turn work.
Row 6:  starting from the 2nd st, dc1 in next 10 sts., BPdc1 in next 4 sts., dc1 in rest 11 sts.  Ch3 and turn work.
Row 7:  starting from the 2nd st, dc1 in next 10 sts (a total of 11), sk2, make a FPtr in the 3rd st, make another FPtr in the 4th, next go back a st and FPtr1 (in the 2nd st you skipped) and again FPtr1 in the 1st st you skipped. Next, dc1 in next 11 sts. Ch3 and turn work.
Row 8: repeat row 6
Row 9: repeat row 3
Row 10: repeat row 4
Row 11: dc1 in all (24)

 Leave a long tail which will be used to sew the warmers together.

Thread the tail, fold crochet work with the face inside, align the sides and sew both parts together. Turn inside out. Make the second warmer.

Enjoy crocheting these and do write if you have a question.
