as i was writing this color story post i found out i lost a dear friend to her long, 20 month battle with lymphoma this weekend. my incredibly talented friend jesse chamberlin-marble loved color, she lived color and simply radiated joy. her stunning photography shouted color and happiness and beauty — all emanating from her incredibly gifted and creative eye and from deep in her beautiful soul, imagination, and very genuine heart. when i started to write this i was just admiring all these inspiring uses of color i’d found on pinterest and but maybe it was more than that. maybe jesse was guiding my hand and holding on to my heart. i hope so. i hope to see her everywhere. this one’s for you, girl. i hope all of you will find it uplifting and inspiring, too. i need a few days, but i’ll see you back here on monday. take good care one and all.
