We were in temporary housing for four months while we moved out of state, and I stitched up this bunny embroidery pattern while we were on the road! I love how portable embroidery is and I did a lot of it while my sewing machine sat in the moving pod. This is such a simple spring decor piece; I normally would paint the hoop a bright color but I still haven’t unpacked my paint, ha!

The pattern uses a french knot and a running stitch. The sample stitched on the page uses fluffier knots, but I experimented and liked the look when I was only using 2 or 3 strands of floss (instead of all 6).
I initially started these with pink bunnies and white tails but ripped it out. My gut reaction is always to shoulder through and convince myself that I like it more than I do, but I’ve finally gained the wisdom to stop, evaluate, and restart so I genuinely love the finished product.
