Budget-Friendly Midsummer Night’s Dream Elopement

Here’s a small elopement inspired by Midsummer Night’s Dream – cozy, simple and budget-friendly. Let’s take a look!

Gemma and Brian chose the intimate setting of Minute Man National Park in Concord, MA for their September elopement. They invited just 12 guests to witness the ceremony and have a meal with them afterwards. The easy-going bride rented her dress and did her own hair and make up on the day.

Their ceremony was planned in less than a month and they only spent $1000. The week before the couple asked the park if they could elope there, then they showed up with the archway for the florist to decorate and the park ranger told them no props at the last second. There was a brief moment of anxiety, but again Brian talked his way through getting them to allow them to keep it there. The wedding cake was a buttercream one decorated with sugar flowers and the cupcakes were matching ones.

The easy-going bride rented her dress and did her own hair and make up on the day. She was rocking a gorgeous nude wedding dress with white lace, long sleeves, an illusion neckline, statement earrings, a floral crown. Look at her bright makeup and this purple hair, isn’t it amazing? The groom was rocking a grey suit. The bridesmaids were wearing mismatching midi blush dresses. The wedding bouquet was a textural and colorful one, with the blooms that were used for the arch decor.

What a beautiful example of how a small budget doesn’t have to mean a sub-par wedding!
