The latest project by Berlin-based interior designer Annabell Kutucu is a brutalist creative hub for thought leaders, rule breakers and innovators. Located in Berlin’s community space Marina Marina, a re-positioning of 1950’s architecture at the waterfront and home to talented entrepreneurs, the minimalist design blends brutalist silence with wabi-sabi inspired aesthetics.

If you’re familiar with Annabell’s incredible work, which I have featured several times over the years, you will recognise her clever knack for bringing together new and vintage pieces alongside her own custom-designed elements. I especially love the recessed dark timber shelving. Together with the dark kitchen cabinetry they bring warmth and texture to the concrete surroundings, while beautiful furniture in dark wood and leather further softens the rough architecture, creating an inspiring environment throughout.
