Contemporary brutalist minimalist architecture. Edsall Street by Ritz & Ghougassian

Although I know that to many this interior might seem too stark and minimalistic (it is to perceived as such anyhow due to its brutalist design concept), I can’t but love its careful choice of materials and how they bring out a geometrical structure to the interior.

First and foremost, I am pinpointing the rigid white brick tiles that run throughout the house that create a grid on the walls. Then, the architecture of the house and the placement of the openings let the sun strategically in and that amplifies the geometric form of the spaces while maintaining privacy.
