I would personally find it rather challenging to style and decorate an apartment with a very dark floor, just like this one. The floor will make everything look more heavy and dark, but the stylist of this place has achieved such a light and airy look and feel of the interior. Two big beige area rugs were used, which cover up a large part of the dark flooring, but still let some parts peeking through for a contrasting effect.
The furniture pieces and textiles that were chosen are mostly beige and white, for a very light look. The spot I like the post in this home is the round dining table in between the two rooms. I like the way the art prints are placed in the corner like that to achieve a cozy little nook.
