Some more kitchen inspiration from Sweden today, with a new collaboration between Artilleriet and Tre Sekel. Based in Gothenburg, Artilleriet is an interiors store offering a carefully curated collection of homewares, lighting and furniture that includes both vintage and innovative designs from around the world. Next door, at their store The Kitchen, they sell beautiful handcrafted kitchen products and unique everyday objects. Tre Sekel is a Swedish furniture manufacturer known for its high level of craftsmanship. Their products are manufactured from mostly solid birch wood, carefully selected from local forests, and the wood is sawn in the same sawmill outside Alingsås that they have worked with for generations.

Together, the two companies have designed a beautiful new kitchen, built with the idea of the kitchen as a piece of furniture. Bringing tactility to the forefront with a focus on materials, all parts of the construction are purposely left visible. Simple yet functional, the kitchen has been designed for extensive every day use.

Because the bespoke kitchens are handmade from Swedish wood and manufactured by skilled craftsmen at Tre Sekel in Sweden, each one is unique. All materials and finishes are carefully selected with the highest possible quality, to create a kitchen that ages with grace and lasts for generations.

Cabinet frames, drawers, and doors are made from pure solid wood from Swedish forests and treated with a white soap or smoked finish. The drawers feature classic dovetail joints and the interiors are lined with Tärnsjö leather.
