August Sketchbook

I made a monthly challenge for myself, to encourage my creative self to draw something in my sketchbook every day in August. It’s called ARTgust. You can find my list of words on my IG account, or on the hashtag #ARTgust. I didn’t complete the challenge entirely (due to university courses starting again), but it certainly made me create artwork and doodles that would never have existed if I hadn’t made the ARTgust challenge.

If you want to do a weekly or monthly challenge, I have a September challenge on my Instagram right now. Look at the pinned Stories:

ABOUT THE SKETCHBOOKS
The big one is A5 size, and have lots of different papers in it. I made it myself using the coptic stitch method. You can learn how to do it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2FRKbQI2kY

The smaller one is a pocket sized Moleskine Art Plus sketchbook. (9×14 cm, 80 pages, 165 g/sm) See my video about Moleskine sketchbooks if you’re curious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2Yll3wK_Eo&t=250s
(I want to make a new sketchbook guide video, to fill in all the holes of that old video!)
