Creative people are creative all of the time, even if that’s just in their own head space. What then, would a creative person imagine for their ideal living space one might ask? Well, these four special home tours take us on a little trip around the minds of some super creative individuals, giving us a peek into extraordinary interior design concepts that range from modernly homey with eye catching artistic touches, to a full blown gallery feel with only a few bits of home. These places feature not just works of modern art, but striking sculptural furniture pieces with a truly customised feel and some spectacularly unique lighting designs.

A channel makes a creative focal point in our first artistic living space, where soft white and muted red decor make rich contrast. A glass coffee table is held up on sculptural forms. Three-dimensional abstract shapes decorate its top.
The shapely looks like a ceramic art piece suspended above the eating area. The outline of the unique dining chairs flips the silhouette of the pendant on its head.

The master bedroom features a warm wooden feature wall behind a houndstooth bedstead and black . An Artemide Nessino table lamp caps a sculptural design.
The red marble floor treatment we saw used in the kitchen diner comes around again in the bathroom, and is this time extended to the walls too. A quirky stands on chunky spherical claws.
Red marble swirls along the vanity area, where it’s complemented by rich wood panelling over the adjoined concealed cistern wall. Matt black bathroom accessories give the timeless materials a contemporary touch.

Our next interior is an artistically decorated summer house, with another distinctive sofa design.
The sofa’s blue-grey tie in perfectly with two modern placed either side of it. An upholstered places a fourth aspect in the conversational seating arrangement.
A red wire mesh coffee table puts a pop of hot colour between the cool grey and bench seat.
Large format artworks vibrantly colour the pale smoky grey walls of the room.
pull the red accent to the back of the living room. A textured area throws down geometric pattern.
Herringbone wood flooring spans the entire space.
A sculptural dining pendant light vibes with the wall art, as though part of the same artistic installation.

Located in Kiev, Ukraine, this design concept is based on austerity and minimalism. The same fabric has been used to cover two couches and the neighbouring dining chairs, creating a bold saturation of pattern.
Unconventional artwork looks out from the blank white walls of the living room, beside a modern bar cart with red accent wheels.
