I came across this fantastic place when preparing an upcoming trip to Copenhagen. It is a listing on Airbnb, the online marketplace for short-term lodging (disclaimer: this is not a sponsored post).

The owners, both architects, transformed a historic 150 square-meter apartment in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, and turned it into a beautiful family home with a modern flair.

I’m loving the bluish-grey color on the living room’s walls, and how the plywood paneling adds a nice warm touch and texture. Notice how one wall was kept distressed, possibly as a nod to the place’s past. The home features a custom-made industrial kitchen with nice copper details.

The interior has carefully curated mix of mid-century Scandinavian furniture, contemporary pieces and auction finds, creating a unique, eclectic style.

Spotted:

– Formakami lamp by Jaime Hayon, &Tradition
– Mayor sofa by Arne Jacobsen/Flemming Lassen, &Tradition
– J39 dining chairs by Borge Mogensen, Fredericia
– Circle Shade pendant lamp by Frama
– Stainless steel pitcher by Henning Koppel, Georg Jensen
– Era armchair by Thonet

What a clean, airy and calm space. Lovely, right?
If I had the budget, I’d definitely love to rent this place for a few days… In the meantime, I’ll simply bookmark it and keep on dreaming!
