Adventure And Aviation Inspired Mexico Wedding

We’ve seen many wedding portraits but these ones are sure to blow your mind! These are underwater wedding portraits! Ready to see them and the whole gorgeous wedding? Let’s go!

The couple, Dilena and Derek, wanted a wedding with themed around travel, their love to Mexico and aviation. So, they chose Play Del Carmen to tie the knot. As many of their guests travelled to Mexico attend their wedding, they wanted to show them what the country had to offer. The couple went for a full adventure day with the guests before the wedding. They went ATVing, ziplining and rappelling, we visited a cenote and went on a hike at Coba. The ceremony itself was held on the sky deck at the Azul Fives Beach Resort. It was a beautiful location, one that didn’t need any additional decor. They wanted to keep everything as simple as possible and chose the sky deck for the ceremony.

The bride was wearing a mermaid lace embellished wedding dress with a plunging neckline, an open back and a train. She was wearing an embellished headpiece with a veil and carried a bouquet of white roses. The groom was rocking a black tux, and so were the groomsmen. The bridesmaids were wearing pink strapless maxi dresses.

The wedding reception took place on the same terrace to enjoy the views. The couple really saved money by not having extra decorations. There were just some pics on the tables and favors, nothing more. Take a look at all of these pics and the amazing portraits in the lagoon!
