How did you spend 2017? Did you experience the thrill of immersing yourself in local cultures? Sample new cuisines? Meet new people? Maybe you learnt a new skill taught by a local artisan or stepped outside of your comfort zone?

2017 was a year to remember, filled with unforgettable, life-changing experiences across the world. We asked the team at TourRadar to share their best travel memories this year, and this is where we went.

Stepping out of the comfort of our offices in Vienna, Toronto and Brisbane, the TourRadar team travelled further than ever before. We trekked through Greenland, wandered the streets of Vietnam, hiked across glaciers in New Zealand – and that’s just the beginning. We saw temples, monuments, historic buildings and museums across the world.

What was our preferred mode of transport, we hear you ask? Well, we rode quad bikes in Greece, rickshaws in India and we sailed through Belize. Next, we went kayaking in Guatemala, travelled in safari trucks in Tanzania, cycled through the Netherlands, rode on horseback in Kyrgyzstan and flew thousands of air miles.

These are the memories that stay with us for life, and make for an unforgettable year.

In 2018, we’re going to do it all again.
