This is a paid post in collaboration with Amazon Handmade

Tis’ the season to be assaulted by adverts showcasing mass produced itemsthat you or your kids simply must have under the tree…blaaah! I’m really enjoying the shift I’ve been seeing over the last few years though, where people are starting to make a point of shopping from independent designer makers, opting for well made, hand crafted, original pieces to gift their loved ones at Christmas. It feels a little more thoughtful and intentional, not to mention supports those who are trying to make a living from their craft and as one of them, I know how important that is.

I use Amazon a lot week to week because, ‘hello Prime membership!’ I’m forever in need of emergency art materials for work or abstract foods for paleo baking, but I’d actually never heard of Amazon Handmade until the team got in touch with me! It’s a community of makers in a huge variety of disciplines, selling their wares in an online space with the increased reach that Amazon offers, perfect!

There are also lots of personalised options to choose from which is ideal for gifting! I think everyone kind of loves receiving something with their name or initials on right? I’ve sifted through the many products in the Amazon Handmade section to bring you three different gift guides, some of which I’ve already ordered for family members. Whoever the person your buying for, there’s something for everyone so why not give something that’s been handmade with love this Christmas?
