During the summer months I love going on a mini “hair retreat,” giving it a break from the usual stressers that can cause damage and breakage. I try to avoid hair tools as much as possible, go longer between washing it, and keep it moisturized with plenty of oils. Here are a few of my favorites that I think could also be beneficial to you!
Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil – This is a great oil to use for dry, wild hair that needs extra moisture during the day. I really love the way it smells and that it dries very quickly. It can be used as a finishing product to hydrate and add shine or as a leave-in conditioner to create softer, smoother hair. I love to spray it on my hair from the mid-shafts down and tie it up into a top knot.

Macadamia Healing Oil Spray – I love this oil for my fine hair. The light-weight mist absorbs quickly into my hair making it softer and more shiny. I always spray this all over my hair before pulling it back into a braid especially when I know I’ll be washing it that evening.

Arvazallia Argan Oil for Hair Treatment – This is one of my favorite oils to use on a daily basis. I always apply 1 to 2 pumps of the oil to the ends of my ponytail or tail of my braid. It instantly smoothes and softens my hair without weighing it down. If you have finer hair like I do then I definitely recommend this one.

Holistix Lite Oil Treatment – This lightweight, non-greasy formula is great for applying on wet hair. I love that the pump applicator doesn’t put too much in your hand at once so one pump is always the perfect amount. I only apply it from the mid-shaft down and follow it with some sort of smoothing cream.

Moroccanoil Treatment Light – Another conditioning treatment for wet hair, this product leaves hair healthy, shiny, and more manageable. You can also apply it to dry hair but if it’s fine or thin then I recommend only applying the tiniest amount to the very ends in order to help maintain your style.

Agave Oil Treatment – I’ve used this oil for years now. It’s easily one of my very favorites because it doesn’t weight down my hair but always leaves it soft and smooth. I apply it to wet hair after showering and it helps seal and hydrate my naturally wavy, frizzy hair.
