Heyyyyyy everybody! Are you ready for the #30dayhomelove challenge!? I’ve teamed up with my good friend, rock star interior blogger and interior design guru Niki Brantmark from My Scandinavian Home to organize something very special that YOU can get involved in TODAY. It’s a 30 Day Challenge where you can take a photo each day according to the theme of the day, post it on your Instagram grid, tag us @myscandinavianhome@decor8 and use hashtag #30DayHomeLove and we’ll like your photo, plus we’ll try to leave a comment if we have time. So far, after just two days, we’ve had over 550 photos submitted so we definitely cannot comment on everyone’s photo but don’t worry, we will like and comment on as many as we can.
Every Monday at 10:00 am GMT+1, we’ll go LIVE on our Instagram Stories to chat for 30 minutes with all of your about the entries from the week and a few that stood out and we’ll also give you some tips for the challenges ahead. Another bonus to all of this that we’ve added is DAILY DECOR ADVICE on our Insta Stories, with at least 5 tips around the theme for the day!
It’s a great way for ALL OF US to stay POSITIVE at the moment the best we can. It’s also a nice way to unite design enthusiasts globally who want to make the best of our homes and the huge amounts of time we are forced to stay indoors at the moment… Niki made such a great point about this challenge in our LIVE chat today on Insta, she said that right now this challenge helps us all to create a more nurturing space so that later when things are back to normal, we have a home that we love even more.

And remember, we are all in this crazy world together right now, we have to support each other. So stay at home, be positive, exercise daily, eat healthily, and go on Instagram and join us each day by submitting a photo from your home with all of us according to the themes above. This way, we stay together, encourage one another, and stay motivated to post and share and grow our accounts which is the best thing to do right now during a time of crisis – band together!
