As a kid did you ever play with shadows, creating birds, animals, and other shadows on the walls? Or as a grown up did you ever create shadows to play with kids? Well, everyone and everything has a shadow and there isn’t anything that doesn’t have a shadow as far as we know. We know that to create shadow, a source of light is must and without which there is no shadow.
But what happens when you see a normal railing or bike rack, but its shadow doesn’t look normal or resemble itself? Sounds confusing?
And if you walk around Redwood City, California then the shadows onto sidewalks are sure to leave you confused.
And the credit of this goes to the artwork of graphic artist Damon Belanger who lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. His unique shadow art paintings turn mundane and everyday objects into intriguing works of art.
You can see more of his work on his: Website and Instagram.
